Turmeric Latte

Turmeric is such a wonderful spice full of healing properties! NO wonder it’s a staple for so many health enthusiasts and natural practitioners.

One of my favourite benefits from turmeric is it’s ability to work as an anti inflammatory. Considering so many disease and illness’s start from inflammation in the gut  ( including my own illness ), it’s hard to think of an excuse not to include golden milk into your daily diet.

I recently spoke on my IG page and Youtube channel of my own health struggles and after choosing to heal naturally, turmeric was the spice that made a major difference for me.

The truth is I hadn’t made a turmeric latte for well over a year but when I fell ill I knew I had to turn to turmeric for healing.

The fact that turmeric is linked to aiding and helping with the following issues kinda sells itself, right?!

  • inflammation
  • bacterial infection
  • viral infection
  • indigestion
  • colitis
  • cancer
  • stomach ulcers
  • lowers cholesterol
  • arthritis

The way I make my latte is SUPER easy! It literally takes a few minutes and there is no fancy barista skills needed. Phew!

INGREDIENTS :

•2 cups milk – coconut milk or almond milk ( I like to use both )

• 1 tsp turmeric powder

•1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

•1/2 tsp ground ginger

• 1 tsp raw honey

DIRECTIONS :

In a saucepan, add all the ingredients and stir.

Then place over medium heat. I like to bring liquid to a boil as I find this makes it nice and frothy. Once it begins to boil, I take it off the heat, pour into into a mug and sip this medicinal and delicious tea.

Easy!
